Flowless Replication
from High-Precision Scans

Perfect for recreating or improving existing parts quickly

What Is Reverse Engineering?

Protosys Technologies offers advanced Reverse Engineering, a process used to deconstruct an existing part to understand its design, dimensions, and functionality. Using high-accuracy 3D scanning, we capture precise digital data and convert it into a detailed 3D model. This allows us to recreate, modify, or improve components when original drawings are missing, outdated, or unavailable.

Applications

Reverse engineering is used when the original manufacturer no longer manufactures a product, there is not enough information on the original design, in product improvement where bad features need to be designed out and to strengthen good features.

How Does It Work?

3D Scanners scan an object as a mesh. This mesh is transferred into a CAD software where the mesh is refined and reverse engineered into solid shapes.
The regenerated model can then be 3D printed.

Reverse Engineering Process : Object -> Scan -> Re bridge -> CAD model -> Manufacturing Cycle
